G-S Hand Inserter & Accessories
 The
G-S Hand Inserter is a sturdy hand press used in watch and gauge repair
for inserting watch crystals and gauge windows.
The
Hand Inserter may be purchased in sets with accessories or as a stand-alone
product.
There
are three types of sets that include a G-S Hand Inserter, and all sets
are packed in a sturdy box:

HP-5 Hand Inserter Set
- The HP-5 Set is our most complete Hand Inserter Set. It includes all
standard accessories for fitting regular crystals, PA Waterproof crystals,
and ring crystals.
- This set also opens and closes conventional and digital watch cases.
- The HP-5 Set includes 20 adapter cups, 6 rubber plugs and 4 rectangular
adapters for fitting watches that range in size from 8.4mm to 57.1mm
(G-S size 70).
HP-6 Hand Inserter Set
- The HP-6 Set is our most popular Hand Inserter Set. It is used for
closing the backs of snap-type watch case backs only.
- This set includes 6 round (sizes 5, 7, 13, 15, 17, 19) and 4 rectangular
adapter cups.
Conversion Set
- The X061 Conversion Set includes 14 metal adapter cups and 6 plugs
to convert an HP-6 Set to a complete HP-5 Set.
- Each sturdy storage box includes locations for all adapter cups and
plugs, so the HP-6 Set can be conveniently upgraded to the complete
HP-5 Set.
H-1 Hand Inserter Set
- The H-1 Set is used for fitting crystals and windows for dial indicators,
gauges, instruments and watches.
- This set includes the G-S Hand Press, 10 blocks and 6 plugs for fitting
crystals by compression, for crystals ranging from 8.4mm to 50.8mm (2").
- The blocks and plugs may also be purchased individually.

Hand Inserter Accessories
The TR-13 Set is a set of 13 replacement plastic rings to fit
HP-5 adapters. These rings enable the user to insert reflector ring crystals
more easily, and they also prevent marring.
The RA-4 Set is for use in closing digital and analog watch cases
with Flat Fancy and Flat Round crystals. The four metal rectangular adapters
have plastic walls to prevent marring, and are included in both the HP-5
and HP-6 sets.
Accessories for Fitting Windows for Large Gauges and Instruments
- Available from G-S are large blocks and plugs for fitting windows
that are over 2" (50.8mm) in diameter.
- Also available are components to adapt an arbor press for use of
these large blocks. Please contact us for
more details on these components.
Set No. 60 includes 6 large wooden blocks and one large plug. This
set enables the user to fit windows from 50.8mm to 76.2mm (2" to
3", or G-S size 60 to 100) in diameter.
These blocks may be purchased as a set or individually.
